Comunicat de la Cyprus University of Technology

Dear Partners,

We will like to update you about the situation with COVID-19 and the measures undertaken by the Cyprus University of Technology.

The coronavirus COVID-19 is now present in Cyprus, there have been 2 confirmed cases since yesterday. Up to date there is no confirmed case at the University.

Αll incoming students were informed about the recommended precautions and who to contact in case of appearance of symptoms based on the instructions of  the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Cyprus.

The University is continuously monitoring the situation and has already undertaken precautionary measures such as allowing students to participate in classes via e-learning and postponed all professional departures to officially confirmed areas of exposure for its students, researchers, academic and administrative staff.

Since the containment of COVID-19 is an issue of public health at international level will strongly recommend to all incoming staff that are planning to visit our University in March and April 2020 to refrain from doing so and reschedule their visits for a later date.

We remain fully available should you require further information and assistance.

On behalf of the Erasmus International Mobility office,

 George Nikola
