Greetings from the University of Chemistry and Technology, Prague.
Regarding the recent developments concerning the Coronavirus (COVID-19), until now, March 10th, there have been 41 confirmed cases in the Czech Republic.
UCT Prague has had no cases of the virus, however, following the emergency measure announced by the Ministry of Health of the Czech Republic prohibiting the presence of students at universities as of 11 March 2020 to prevent the spread of the virus, the Rector has decided on the following arrangements:
As of 11 March, until revoked, all forms of contact instruction of students at all levels of study are cancelled. Online instruction is possible using apps such as Skype, Teams, etc. Employees of UCT Prague are recommended to work from home.
