NOTICE FOR THE MAIÊUTICA ACADEMIC COMMUNITY (ISMAI, IPMAIA and CFLV)

Following notices publicised yesterday and the day before yesterday (9 and 10 March 2020), we hereby inform all the academic community and other stakeholders that from this moment on and until further notice all classroom-based education activities are suspended at the Maiêutica Campus premises for all ISMAI, IPMAIA and CFLV courses.

The decision to postpone events and university outreach activities remains in force.

As mentioned in previous notices, Maiêutica has been carefully and responsibly monitoring the situation regarding the COVID-19 outbreak, and has been in constant contact with public health authorities, immediately and fully following all guidance they have provided.

It should be noted that no suspicions or doubts have been raised at the Campus about any possible infection by COVID-19.

However, the World Health Organisation’s declaration of a global pandemic recommends taking this decision.

All students and teachers are advised not to come to the Campus during this preventive period.

In the meantime, Maiêutica (ISMAI, IPMAIA and CFLV) is studying available alternatives so that teaching can continue using distance learning methods and shall keep the community constantly informed about any developments in the situation.

Any official decision or guidance may lead to a new notice being issued.
