Dear Partners,

currently, we all have to deal with an extraordinary situation. Our University also had to take some measures to limit the risk of coronavirus transmission for its students and staff. The classes at the University were suspended on 11 March. As of 16 March, students are not allowed to use any campus infrastructure, namely: lecture halls, library, sports centre and catering points. All students who remain in Wrocław can stay in the dormitory. Out of the two dormitories our University has, one is occupied by students and the other had to be emptied, in case it is needed for quarantine purposes. Some of Erasmus students stay also in privately rented rooms/flats.

Our University wants to continue providing classes and from tomorrow on the distance/online teaching/learning activities will start. All students, both the ones staying in Wrocław and the ones who returned to their home countries, will be able to participate in this form of lectures/classes.

Our International Office staff also had to start working remotely since yesterday. This means all mails will be answered, but I do not have access to any paper documents. I realise the handling of students' documents will be delayed, but I cannot help it. All LA, During Mobility, Arrival/Attendance Certificates, and Transcripts will be printed, scanned and sent via email/regular mail only after we are allowed to come back to the campus.

Right now, we have no cases of infected/hospitalised persons among our students or staff.
