Dear Partners,

I am writing to you to let you know about the current situation at Opole University of Technology.

Our University is at the moment closed for students, no lectures are being conducted and the other non-essential activities has been cancelled as well. The students are safe and they are being informed about all procedures and necessary steps. At the same time we are trying to start leading the classes on-line via Internet. This measures has been taken as a precaution. There have not until now been any cases of COVID in Opole city, however there are few cases nearby.

It is strongly recommended by us for all the students to avoid attending the crowded places and traveling around Poland or abroad. The students have been informed about the issue and they have necessary support from our institution, however unfortunately not all of them take the situation as serious as they should. We would really appreciate if you could  contact your students staying at our University and suggest them following all precautions.

Please be assured that we make the necessary efforts to guarantee the wellbeing of your students while they stay with us.

Do not hesitate to contact us, should you need any further clarification
