Important information regarding incoming mobilities - University of Sassari (ITALY)

Dear partner,

Pursuant to the current urgent provision of the Italian Government regarding the containment and management of the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, this is to inform you that all international student mobility activities for study and traineeship are hereby suspended. Activities includes incoming and outgoing mobilities in the framework of the Erasmus+ and Ulisse programmes and similar programmes, carried out by UNISS, starting between today and March 15, 2020.

All mobilities for study and traineeship must be postponed and started after March 15, 2020, following the instructions that will be provided by this university via email or published on the  official website.

All mobilities for study and traineeship which started before March 5, 2020, may be carried out regularly but they will be suspended between March 5 and March 15, 2020, with the exception of the traineeships carried out within the Medical Area, pursuant to the provision of the Italian Government.

The Decree of the Italian Prime Minister dated march 4, 2020 provides that anyone who has been in, or travelled through the high-risk areas during the previous 14 days, that is, the areas identified by the World Health Organization Memos or Annex 1 of the afore-mentioned Decree of the Italian Prime Minister, as amended and supplemented, is required to immediately inform the local competent medical officer or their family doctor. Pursuant to the provisions of the Decrees of the Italian Prime Minister dated March 1, 2020 and March 4, 2020, and all other official communications regarding the epidemiological emergencies, you are kindly ask to comply with all the tips published by the Italian Ministry of Health on http://www.salute.gov.it/imgs/C_17_opuscoliPoster_433_allegato.pdf .

This Office will inform the partner universities and the incoming students for any update.

Dear partner,
Regarding the COVID-19 epidemiological emergency, the University of Sassari informs you that no case of Coronavirus infection have been reported in Sardinia, and that the relevant Ministries have resolved that all educational activities in safe areas must continue regularly, including international outgoing and incoming mobility.
Therefore, since Sardinia is NOT included in the list of high-risk areas, all activities will continue regularly. Local authorities are taking all precautions being implemented in the rest of Europe to reduce the risk of spread.
We shall keep you informed of further developments.

En relación con la emergencia epidemiológica por COVID-19, la Universidad de Sassari desea comunicarle que en Cerdeña no se ha detectado ningún caso de infección por Coronavirus, y que los Ministerios competentes han dispuesto que las actividades en las zonas que no corren riesgo continúen regularmente, incluida la movilidad internacional saliente y entrante.
Por lo tanto, como Cerdeña no se encuentra en una zona de alto riesgo, todas las actividades continúan sin interrupción. Las autoridades locales siguen adoptando todas las precauciones que se utilizan en el resto de Europa para reducir el riesgo de contagio.
