Dear Students and colleagues,
With this message we want to give you an update on the schedule of the next semester at Heidelberg University. Due to the effects of the pandemics the start of the lecture period has been postponed to November 2. The lecture period will end on February 27, with a holiday break from December 21 till January 9, 2021.
Accordingly, the dates of our preparatory German language course have been changed, too. It runs now from September 14 to October 16.
Also, we have decided to offer it for the first time as a “blended” course: The first two weeks will be offered as an online course while the last two weeks will be offered on campus. Please note that this is a four-weeks’-course. It is not possible to participate in only one part of it.
The week in between will give your students the chance to travel to Heidelberg and move into the rooms of the dormitories which are available as from October 1st.
So this is what the updated schedule looks like:
