El grup d'investigació *GIANT està format per investigadors del camp dels Llenguates i Sistemes Informàtics. Les seues principals línies d'investigació es l'Aprenentatge Automàtic com a base per a la creació Ambients Intel·ligents orientats a la millora de la qualitat de vida de les persones. Les principals camps on treballa el grup són: Aprenentatge Automàtic i e-Salut. Una altra informació: Aprenentatge automàtic com a eina de ciència ciutadana per a millorar la qualitat de vida de les persones majors i les seues persones cuidadores. Projecte finançat per la Fundació Espanyola per a la Ciència i la Tecnologia (FECYT), en la Convocatòria d'Ajudes per al Foment de la Cultura Científica, Tecnològica i de la Innovació (FCT-18-13677).
