En el grup d'investigació CEIG s'investiguen les últimes tecnologies i avanços en visualització interactiva centrant-nos en la Realitat Estesa, buscant crear experiències interactives significatives i destacant en àrees clau com a Realitat Virtual i Realitat Augmentada. A més, investiguem el disseny i desenrotllament de Jocs Seriosos i aplicacions ludificades per a diversos camps com la indústria o la salut. El grup compta amb projectes d'investigació europeus i nacionals en este camp, destacant el projecte Horitzó Europa “E-DIPLOMA - ELECTRONIC, DIDACTIC AND INNOVATIVE PLATFORM FOR LEARNING BASED ON MULTIMÈDIA ASSETS”, on s'analitza l'ús de tecnologies de visualització interactiva s'aplica a l'e-learning, buscant millorar l'educació mitjançant enfocaments visuals i participatius. També treballa actualment en un projecte Erasmus + Forward Looking “OSCAR-PROMOTING CROSS-CUTTING DIGITAL SKILLS THROUGH EUROPE-WIDE SENAR-CONVENTIONAL LEARNING EXPERIENCES”, en el qual es fomenten els campus digitals per a estudiants de secundària en la qual es dona formació sobre tecnologia de Realitat Virtual. En relació a contractes de transferència, s'ha adaptat la investigació realitzada al camp del bessó digital, aplicant-lo a diversos camps, especialment la indústria, la qual cosa ha donat lloc a col·laborar amb el teixit industrial de la zona. Amb tot això i amb un enfocament multidisciplinari, el nostre grup d'investigació busca avançar a la frontera de la tecnologia interactiva, oferint solucions innovadores i aplicades a diversos sectors.
