    Dra. Eva Mª Barea Berzosa. Graduated in Chemistry from the Universidad de Valencia (Spain) in 2000, she received the PhD degree in Chemistry in 2005 at Universidad Politécnica de Valencia and the experimental work where developed at Instituto de Tecnología Química  (UPV -CSIC).  In 2006, she started her resarch at Univesitat Jaume I in Castellon, she joined the Juan Bisquert group, working at Physics department developing the chemistry in the group, hydrothermal synthesis of semiconductors, metallic nanoparticles. Expert in fotovoltaics fabrication devices (DSC, OLEDS, QDSC) and actually is working in perovskites solar cells

    Currently the main focus of research lines: a) preparation and optimization of new metal oxide semiconductor nanoparticles, b) Synthesis of new architectures metal oxides acting as collector of electrons in photovoltaic devices, c) Obtaining new nanostructured metal oxides sensitive to visible, c) Perovskites synthesis c) Studies by impedance spectroscopy technique stability of perovskites solar cells, d) Manufacture of TiO2 and ZnO nanotubes applicable to solar cells dye, e) Production of light emitting devices (OLEDs) and the corresponding study in the charge injection phenomena interfaces between metal - polymer using impedance spectroscopy.

    She is the author of several articles published in high-impact journal, as well as 5 European patents and one world patent. She has been visiting major European research centers working in the manufacture of DSC, such as the EPFL professor Michael Grätzel and ECN (Energy research Center of the Netherland. Also, the last years was working at Department of Physics at Oxford University with Professor Henry Snaith developing perovskite solar cells. Eva has directed one PhD Thesis.
