Àrees d'interés: The GIE-DAO Educational Innovation Group has been working since 2016 to integrate graphic expression and computer-aided design (CAD) in the Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Design Engineering and Product Development. The group consists of over 8 professors and collaborates in the teaching of three key subjects: Graphic Expression (EGII), Computer-Aided Design I (DAOI), and Computer-Aided Design II (DAOII), with the involvement of more than 300 students each year. The group’s main areas of interest include: Methodological Innovation: Implementation of the flipped classroom methodology, improving student understanding and engagement. Development of Teaching Materials: Creation of books and educational resources adapted to the new curriculum, enabling self-learning and self-assessment. Curricular Adaptation: Modification and updating of content to align with the demands of the new curriculum, introducing specialized software like AutoCAD®, Inventor®, and SolidWorks® to enhance student skills in 3D modeling and drafting. Research and Dissemination: Participation in educational innovation projects and publication of results in academic conferences and open-access teaching materials. Through these initiatives, GIE-DAO continues to promote teaching excellence and ongoing improvement in the education of future industrial design professionals.
