The International Area of the Office for International and Educational Cooperation is in charge of managing the international and national programmes of education, such as Erasmus, SICUE-Seneca and university own programmes as EURUJI, Eurinsa, United States, Canada and Latin America. We have established bilateral agreements with ca. 150 partner universities in Europe and America and every year we send over 375 students abroad and we receive over 275 exchange students.

We are holders of the Erasmus University Charter since March 2003 with the following number: 29583-IC-I-2002-1-ES-ERASMUS-EUC-1 and our Erasmus code is: E CASTELL01

The New Erasmus University Charter awarded in 2007 has the following number: 29583-IC-1-2001-1-ES-ERASMUS-EUC-1.

One of our most important tasks is to look after the incoming exchange students.
We provide them with information on registration, enrollment, accommodation before their arrival and we organize orientation and leisure activities during their stay here.

Our new slogan is Inter-canvia’t, which means, “Ex-change yourself “ and tries to convey the two ideas of travelling abroad within and exchange programme and the idea of personal and change in life as a result of the experience.

The OCIE has been the first service of the UJI to elaborate "a service charter" ; you can visit it to obtain more information about our commitments and send us your suggestions.

OCIE is located in the ground floor of the building adjacent to the library, next to Infocampus. We are open from 8.30 to 14.30.
