Services
GLP services are mainly the performance of residue trial studies, in which LARP acts as the analytical laboratory. LARP personnel act as the Study Director or Principal Investigator for the analytical phase of the study. Similarly, LARP participates in studies concerning processed foodstuff (of plant origin), storage stability of residue samples, environmental behaviour and eco-toxicology, in all cases performing the analytical part of the study.
The aims of the service are:
- Development and validation of analytical methods
- Determination of pesticide residues in plants
- Determination of residues in aquatic organisms, soil, sediment and water samples
The sophisticated equipment and extensive experience of the scientific staff of LARP in multiple applications of chromatography and mass spectrometry allow the performance of different types of studies related to the analysis of organic compounds in many samples types.
Other services provided (not GLP):
- Development and validation of analytical methods for the determination of organic compounds in environmental and biological matrices (soils, sediments, body fluids and tissues)
- Screening and monitoring of organic and pharmaceutical pollutants in water, with special emphasis in the correct identification and confirmation of compounds detected by mass spectrometry (triple quad, time of flight)
- Biological control of exposure to biocides and pesticides by means of analytical determination of blood and urine samples
- Studies of organic impurities in the technical material and formulations (available soon
- Determination of the active material and formulations (available soon)
These services, although not GLP, are still done to the same high standards of the laboratory
