Description: In the knowledge society, the translation process is mainly performed by means of the computer and the assisted-translation tools. Today, the mastery of translation technologies is a must in any field of specialised (scientific, technical, legal) translation and in terminology management.
The general objective of this Master’s Programme is that the students learn how to develop their roles in translation and localisation companies, international organisations, language services from companies, and how to create their own companies. It offers specific training in web page translation, computer software translation and videogame translation. Practical classes will be taught in the translation lab. The students will do work placements in translation companies or will develop a technical project. Directed to: research.
