What is Metalib?
It is a portal allowing access to the electronic resources subscribed by the UJI and other free-access resources selected by the Library: databases, e-journals and e-books (with full-text access if they are subscribed), web pages and library catalogues.
What can you find?
- Information on a topic by searching various e-resources at the same time. How? Quick search and Metasearch
- The e-resources subscribed by the University and other free-access resources selected by the Library. How? Find database
- Full text of e-journals subscribed by the University and other free-access journals selected by the Library. How? Find e-journal
- A customised space where you can select favourite resources, save searches, create and modify alerts, etc. How? My space
How can it be accessed?
- From the web page http://metalib.uji.es
- From the Library web site: http://www.uji.es/CA/cd/
- Outside the UJI, by previously setting up the VPN client. To do this, you can follow the instructions on http://www.si.uji.es/acces/freenet.html
Who can access it?
- Universitat Jaume I users (through username and password) have access to all e-resources.
- Guests may access all the free e-resources.
