What is this exactly?
‘Ask a librarian’ is Universitat Jaume I’s virtual reference service which allows users to make consultations about searching for information and about the Library, its services and its bibliographic and information resources.
Who may use this service?
Anyone, but preferably university community members.
How is this service used?
By means of the electronic form which appears in the Library web site.
How does this service work?
The user fills in the corresponding form to consult. An email message automatically appears with a user account the first time the user makes a consultation. This provides the user access to his or her consultations in the link Check your consultation . This access allows users to follow up their consultations. It also enables users to consult questions raised by other users through the option Search in the BC . Furthermore, users may enter their user account through the web http://www.questionpoint.org, by clicking on the link Patron logon.

How does the Library respond?
This service is provided by the library staff who will answer consultations clearly and accurately to the user’s email address in less than 24 hours (except for weekends and holidays).
